Connor with our first babies, Leo and Prissy!
I haven't posted at all yet about Connor with the Bulls, so this is a bit of a compilation post! Leo is absolutely wonderful with Connor, though he likes to lick him, which makes for a very slobbery baby, and Connor is slobbery enough on his own!
I am seeing more and more each day how much they both seem to love each other. Connor smiles and watches Leo as he walks around, and Leo will quite often pop his head into Connor's room to check on him. I think it will be really fantastic to see then grow up together!
Prissy on the other hand, well, Prissy is Prissy!! She is a grumpy old gal, so we don't let Connor around her all that much, but she doesn't seem to mind the lack of Connor time. I think she prefers to be asleep on the couch!
These few are from Connor's first few days at home:

Bumbo!!
We bought Connor a Bumbo seat last night! He seems to really like it, but he can't stay in it for too long or he starts to flail about and get totally upset!! Hopefully he will like it for longer periods of time once he gets a little older.

He's grabbing things!!
Connor has just recently started to grab his toys when you put them in front of his hands! I am glad this has happened because now we can actually "play". Up to this point I was just dangling toys in front of him, making them go near and far like that Grover skit on Sesame Street! He got really good at following the toys all around, but my arm sure got sore!
I am excited for this new phase of learning, entitled "Will this fit in my mouth?"
Followed by, "Why can I only get my hand to my mouth sometimes??"

Bath Time!
It took a while before Connor enjoyed his bath. I think it was a combination of two things-
1. His rookie mom was terrified of getting even one drop of water near his eye, or letting his ears get wet, or getting him too soapy, and thus creating a sudsy, slippery baby that could squirt right out of my hands at any given moment!
2. The water was too cold - also because his rookie mom was too afraid to make it even one iota warmer than the recommended temperature!!
After getting over the initial jitters, upping the bath water temp., and keeping a warm washcloth on his belly, Connor came to really enjoy his baths, and now he has one every night before bed! He was almost two months old before we got into a good bathtime routine!

He slept through the night!!
At seven weeks old! I cannot believe it, I actually got 7 straight hours of sleep last night!!! Actually, who am I kidding?? I still got up to check on him twice throughout the night!
I had ordered a Prince Lionheart Womb Sounds Slumber Bear, and it arrived in the mail yesterday, so I used it last night in the crib and voila! Seven straight hours he slept! There was no middle ground either, the night before he got up every three hours like clockwork, but last night he slept from 11pm until morning!
I have my fingers crossed that this isn't a fluke!
